Bantu Continua Uhuru Consciousness (BCUC) is a mix of afro haircuts and funky shades, from hiphop and Arican chants, from swining beats and one important message: fifteen years after the abandonment of the Apartheid, kids in the South African townships still have to put up a fight for their freedom. BCUC delivers the message in a mix of urban, soul, rap and a fusion of the African sound and hot beats.

No Afro-soul female artist is as brave and daring as the stunning and imposing Nubian-looking princess Camagwini, whose name reflects Africans’ connection with spiritual divine intervention and ancestral worship.  Camagwini adds her fresh Afro beats with the folklore, legends, customs and tradition of the town ship of New Brighton where she grew up. She has performed along side South African and international icons such as, Busi Mhlongo, Hugh Masekela, Caiphus and Letta Mbulu, Angelique Kidjo, Puff Johnson, Tania Maria, just to mention a few.

Geen Afro-soul artiest is zo markant als de indrukwekkende Nubiaans ogende Camagwini. Haar naam reflecteert de eeuwenoude binding van Afrika met het spirituele. Ze is opgegroeid in het town ship New Brighton en verpakt de legendes, gebruiken en folklore van deze plaats in haar in frisse Afro beats.
